They act as platform for you to share both the innovation, product or service as well as providing a feedback loop from your Social Media output.
A website should not be seen as tool in isolation but part of strategic element of your whole dissemination campaign.
The larger your digital footprint you have ( Linked In, Twitter, Facebook etc ) the more you are amplifying your message. And by creating interest, the instinctive reaction is to ‘look at the website’ and this is where the user will find the most information and just as importantly details on how contact you.
And when coupled with a CRM platform, it becomes a very powerful tool. But it is not static, news posts, video content, blog posts can all be embedded so when you look at it in this way its more than just a Website its your dissemination & exploitation shop window and foundation from which to showcase.
